At APAA, we offer musical theatre training to students from 7-21 years. Our goal is to unlock the potential in our students through weekly training sessions in singing, dancing and acting, culminating in a fully produced show at the end of each semester. As well as developing their triple-threat skills, musical theatre training benefits students by increasing their confidence, empathy, compassion, problem solving skills and perseverance. Plus, students studying performing arts have a higher rate of academic achievement, therefore, musical theatre training aids their all-round development.
Through our training programme, APAA students will flourish as individuals, whilst we feed their imagination and ‘let their talent take flight’!
We offer two streams of training; the Broadway and West End programmes. All students enrolling in either stream will receive weekly training and will perform in the show at the end of the semester.
Students who enrol onto our Broadway programme will receive intensive weekly musical theatre training, in singing, dancing and acting from industry professionals. Our Broadway students will also have the opportunity to audition for principal/lead/featured roles in the show and the Dance Troupe.
Alternatively, students can enrol onto our West End programme, where they will train weekly and perform in the chorus of the show at the end of the semester.
A different fee structure applies to each training stream.
